Free Group Ride
Mixed Terrain--Log Boom, Cross Kirkland Corridor loop
Event has already happened.
The Cross Kirkland Corridor trail is a delightful smooth gravel route that starts near State Route 520 and heads north to the Kingsgate neighborhood. This ride will explore this and part of the gravel Tolt Pipeline Trail. The Tolt Pipeline Trail has some difficult steep climbing and can be avoided by taking the "Bail out route". The "Bail out route" avoids the climb over Kingsgate and the Tolt Pipeline Trail by descending down into the valley and taking the Sammamish River Trail all the way back to Log Boom Park. The ride leader will be doing the full route including Tolt Pipeline. Please study the routes before the ride in the links below.
* A large part of the ride is on gravel roads or trails.
* No maps will be passed out so use the links and bring your own.
* Group will stop for mechanical issues but please bring tools, tubes and skills to fix any problems you may experience.
* Bring front and rear lights for visibility.
* Bring snacks and liquids.
