Come join Jackie Klakken and me for a flat leisurely December ride. This is an out-and-back ride to the Stonehouse Cafe. We'll start on Kent trails, ride through Renton, and have a nice mid-way rest stop at the Cafe, which also has a nice bakery. This will be a fun, social, and easy ride. No fancy equipment needed, but a helmet and fun attitude is a requirement. Also, bring a water bottle, spare tube and money for yummy bakery treats.
This is a leisurely paced group, and we will make every effort to stay together. However, all riders are encouraged to have an Orca Card or a pick-up if you can not finish the ride, or for mechanicals that can not be fixed safely. If the ride is canceled, it will be written in the comment section below two hours before the start, and the Ride Leader will not be there. Please arrive by 9:40 am for the S.M.A.R.T. safety talk and ride briefing! We will roll out right at 10:00 am.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
