Auburn - 4 Corners loop

Let's meet at the Auburn Library parking lot (park away from the Library entrance) and roll out at 9:00 for a moderate paced, 34 mile loop ride to Four Corners in Maple Valley. After a short ride out of Auburn we'll take on the easy 3 mile climb of Auburn/Black Diamond Rd, Starting at mile 8 we'll ride the residential roads along Lake Morton up to Covington/Sawyer Rd, 216th and Witte Rd. We'll stop for coffee and snacks at Panera Bread at Four Corners then loop back through Ravensdale and Black Diamond, finishishing up on the lovely rolling hills of Lake Holm and Lake Moneysmith Rd, before descending back to Auburn.

We'll have regroups at the top/bottom of long climbs/descents and at major intersections. Climb and descend at your own pace. Ride leader will ride a moderate pace on the flats. Faster riders may ride ahead but please regroup as appropriate.

There are restrooms at the start (Les Gove Park), mile 10 (Lake Morton) and mile 16 (Panera Bread)

Please arrive at the start 20 minutes early so you have time to ready your bike, sign the ride waiver, and listen to the SMART safety talk.

If ride is cancelled due to weather it will be posted here in comments by 7:00am and ride leader will not be waiting at the start.

Please take the time to make sure your bike is in good working order and be prepared to fix flats and deal with routine mechanical issues.
