Woodinville Breweries Tour - HopHeads edition
Event has already happened.
It's very well known that Woodinville is home to over 100 wineries and tasting rooms including several of the Washington state's notable wineries, but did you know there is also delicious beer directly from Woodinville breweries and taprooms where you can enjoy a pint (or two), pick-up a crowler or refill your growler to go?.
On this ride, we'll tour the Woodinville area and briefly stop at each of the 9 breweries (that I know of), just so you are aware of where they are located and be able come back some other time:
- Fish Brewing.
- Sumerian Brewing.
- Triplehorn Brewing.
- Bosk Brew Works.
- Dirty Bucket Brewing.
- Metier Brewing.
- Twenty Corners Brewing.
- Good Brewing.
- Crucible Brewing.
While we can't possibly stop and drink at every place, after enjoying some nice trail sections, urban settings and working-out a few hills during this 18+ mile bike ride, our final stop will be the HopHeads taproom where we can enjoy a cold one, and partake in the Cascade's Boo-Ze for Bikes event.
Please note, there are a couple of short sections with hard-packed gravel on this route (road bikes with skinny tires should be ok).
Parking: you have 2 options, (a) the Woodinville Sports Fields, and just ride your bike across the street to the Wilmot Gateway Park; (b) if you'd like to have your car nearby at the end of the ride, leave it at the plaza where HopHeads is in (14141 Woodinville Duval Rd) and ride your bike on NE 175th St to the start.
Ride Start: by the restrooms at Wilmot Gateway Park, plan to be there ready to ride at 11:00am to check-in and hear the safety briefing. We'll start riding at 11:15am.
Don't forget to bring a lock for your bike if you're planning to stay for the event!
Food: HopHeads has a food menu (check their website) and there are some more food options if you'd like to get something for lunch, right at the plaza where HopHeads is located (you can bring outside food into HopHeads): Subway, Matsu Teriyaki, Tipsy Cow, Starbucks, Chan's Place. And not far: Mod Pizza, Qdoba, Teddy's Bigger Burgers, Panera, Chipotle, Jimmy John's, Mongolian Grill, Gyro Express, Taco Time.
