Halloween Family Ride

Come join Jackie and Clif for a fun family Halloween Ride of 3.4 mile, which we can do as many loops as you would like. Pace will be set at the slowest rider, so no one is left behind! Costumes encouraged with fun glow in the dark accessories. I will have glow in the dark bracelets for everyone to wear. No face masks, but some paint is ok to wear. We must be able to see your face, as well as a helmet is a must. We will get to ride around Cedar River Trail through a beautiful park along the water and several places for photo ops. We will also get to see many planes that are being built from a distance. Following the ride we plan to go to Renton Landing for an optional treat after the ride!

We will start about dusk and end in the dark, so a solid white light on the front of your bike and a red light on the back of your bike is required for this ride, personal reflective gear is encouraged. Bring all tubes and tools to fix a flat, as well as water and snacks if needed. It is fall and getting cooler, so please dress accordingly. No fancy spandex or bike attire is required, just a working bike, helmet and a fun attitude! Cue sheets will not be provided, please print one if desired. Having a cue sheet will help you if you need to return back to the start before the ride is finished, or having a ride to pick you up.

We will meet in the West side of the parking lot at the Renton Senior Center closest to Logan Ave N for our ride briefing and SMART talk. No restrooms at start. Please arrive by 5:15pm for a ride start at 5:45pm.

In the event of bad weather, Ride Leader will post a cancellation in the comments section two hours prior to the start. Ride Leader will not be at the start if cancelled. Please sign the waiver online to help save time. Just click on the red Register Now button at the top, click on the waiver button, fill in the Emergency Contact Information, and click on Save. Fenders with buddy flap encouraged to ride within the group if there is a possibility of wet roads.
