Auburn - Enumclaw coffee ride

Let's meet at the Auburn Library parking lot (park away from the Library entrance) and roll out at 9:00 for a 42 mile moderate paced ride to Enumclaw and back. We'll warm up on Green Valley Rd. before a short, sharp one-mile climb (212th Way SE) to the Enumclaw plateau, then cruise along on farm and ranch roads to Enumclaw where we'll stop for coffee and snacks at Starbucks. After our break we'll zig and zag our way back to the descent of 368th/212th then flat and fast GV Rd. back to Auburn. Climb and descend at your own pace - we'll have regroups at the top/bottom of long climbs/descents and at major intersections. Ride leader will ride a moderate pace on the flats but if you're feeling frisky and want to ride faster, feel free, but please regroup as appropriate.

Restrooms at the start (Les Gove Park) and at Starbucks in Enumclaw.

Please arrive at the start 20 minutes early so you have time to ready your bike, sign the ride waiver, and listen to the SMART safety talk.

If ride is cancelled due to weather it will be posted here in comments by 7:00am and ride leader will not be waiting at the start.

Come prepared to fix flats and have a plan for dealing with mechanical issues. Please take the time to make sure your bike is in good working order.
