Leisurely Burke Gilman trail ride from Matthews Beach north to the North Shore Senior Center (NSSC) in Bothell, just beyond Blyth Park near Bothell. We can buy a piece of homemade pie, brownie or cookies, ice cream, and coffee at a reasonable price. Please bring cash only for any purchases. We will be there for about 60 minutes, use the restrooms if needed and then return to Matthews Beach. Bring your water bottles, helmets, inner tube and a functioning bicycle.
We will ride along the Burke Gilman Trail. The terrain is flat. We stay together and regroup frequently. New and returning bike riders are welcome.
Park closer to the water in the Matthews Beach parking lot. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ride to sign the liability waiver and hear the safety (SMART) briefing. Water and restrooms are available at the start. Please sign an e-waiver by clicking on the “Register Now” button at the top of this page (right below the ride title) and enter your information. If you cannot make the ride, you do not need to unregister.
Weather cancellation: - Steady rain or severe weather will cancel the ride. Ride cancellation will be announced in the comments section at least two hours before start time and the ride leader(s) will not be at the start.

What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
