Friday Riders bike to Seward Park and African American Museum
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
We'll bike across Capitol Hill to the Northwest African American Museum in the Mt. Baker neighborhood and then on to Seward Park returning to Gasworks on the Lake. Museum admission is $5.00 seniors and students and $7.00 adults. There often is an opportunity to reserve free passes from the Seattle library (go to *explore" then "books, movies&more", "museum pass"). We'll stay about an 45 minutes at the Museum. Leader bikes very slowly uphill and this ride has some hills. The Museum is in the old Coleman School building and features changing art and history exhibits and is well worth the stop. Lunch/snack stop at Leshi on return. If the weather is iffy, the leader will ride to start and determine it weather conditions allow for biking.
