This is Labor Day so let's not labor and have some fun! Come join me for a social loop around Lake Sammamish at a Moderate pace which will provide the perfect oportunity for newer riders, ladies, seasoned veterans, and those looking to find new friends the chance to mingle while getting in a few miles before the afternoon barbeque.
RSVP: Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page to save time at ride start. Please register by 7am on day of ride. You can always register at the ride start if you miss the cut-off. If you sign up using e-waiver but decide not to ride, no worries, and we'll see you next time.
PACE: Pace is approx 15mph on the flats and at your own pace up hills. The pace is meant to be social and we will be regrouping at the top of hills.
START LOCATION & PARKING: Ride starts at Trek Bicycle Redmond located at 16389 Redmond Way, Redmond. Parking is avaialble at Redmond Central Connector Parking lot located 2 blocks from Trek Redmond at 7541 Leary Way NE Redmond WA.
ROUTE: See link below for a RideWithGPS downloadable route map with printable cue sheet. If you want a cue sheet, please print one using the route link as copies will not be available at the ride start.
MECHANIICALS: Group will not stop for mechanicals. Bring tools and knowledge to repair flats, and a plan ie: a friend or Uber for rescue should you have a serious mechanical failure.
REQUIRED: As is required with all Cascade rides, please ensure you wear a helmet and come prepared with water bottles and gear that is comfortable and appropriate for the distance/elevation. Mirrors and lights are highly recommended by the ride leader.
Arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time to hear the route briefing, SMART talk, and sign the waiver form (or check off your name) for an on-time departure. Attendance during the safety briefing is mandatory to ride with the group.
RIDE CANCELLATION: In the event of a weather cancellation a notice will be posted in the comments on this page at least two hours before the ride start and ride leader will not be at the ride start location.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
