Free Group Ride
Lower Woodland Park to Kirkland
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This ride starts at Lower Woodland Park near the bathrooms that are next to the baseball fields. We will keep the published pace on flats, but you can go uphill at your own pace. We will regroup frequently but it’s best to bring your own cue sheet or download the GPS. Please pack water, snack, and tools/tubes to fix a flat as always.
We will take the Burke Gilman to Montlake, go across the new 520 Bridge bike trail, head towards Kirkland, do a loop, and return via the bridge. Then, up to Ravenna before getting back to Lower Woodland Park. We'll have a short snack/coffee stop in Houghton.
We will roll at 9:00am so please come early enough to get ready, sign a waiver, and listen to the safety briefing. Registering here will make the process easier and we can better prepare with appropriate number of Ride Leaders. In addition to showers, any other hazardous conditions will cancel a ride. If a ride is cancelled due to hazardous conditions, the notice will be posted here in the comments section below by 7:00am on the day of the ride. If that notice is posted, the ride leader will not be at the start.

- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
