Free Group Ride
Social Ride from Gas Works Park to Lake Forest Park (and Back)
Event has already happened.
Are you new to cycling and don't know much about bicyclist-friendly trails and roads in Seattle? Feel a bit intimidated about riding with traffic?
Come join us!
We will start the ride from Gas Works Park. We will head west on Ship Canal Trail to check out Ballard Locks. Then head north on a gradual hill while chitchat (or huff and puff). All the hill climb will be awarded with a long downhill through wooded area before stopping for something to eat at Sunday market at Lake Forest Park Town Center. We'll finish the loop on Burke-Gilman Trail.
The ride will be joined by Paul Constantine who trained this spring and just successfully completed STP. You can ask questions and/or share your own stories!
We will leave at 10am, so please come early enough to get yourself ready and hear a safety talk. See you soon!
