Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Join us for a 27.7 mile, 1440' elevation gain as we ride to West Seattle. Along the way, we will visit Hamilton Viewpoint Park (one of the best viewpoints in the city), Viewpoint Park in the High Point neghborhood, and the Seattle Chinese Garden. There will be one optional short but steep climb offered for the climbing enthusiasts. Those not wishing to do the optional climb will get a short rest break while the climb is being done. We will re-group on the tops of all major hills and will keep to the speed limit of 15 mph on the Myrtle-Edwards trail. Afterwards, we'll head to the Nickerson Street Saloon for food, drinks and socializing for those interested.
Please make sure to arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the start time to get your bike set up, sign the waiver, and to listen to the safety talk.
The ride leaders will not be at the ride start should conditions be as noted in “Showers Cancels” above. I will announce the cancellation in the comments section below at least 2 hours prior to the ride start and will monitor my phone and/or email listed in the contact information. If you have questions about the weather, please call (or email) before you leave for the ride.
