Snohomish thru Ebey Island
Park along the side of the Centennial Trail about half-mile north of town. Please try to be 15 minutes early to get yourself and bike ready and to listen to the safety talk. We leave at 11:00 am. Restrooms are 1 mile into the ride and at the half-way point.
Elevation gain is low but there are a few short hills along the way. Most of the route is on back roads, but we'll pass the train station and a little more traffic in South Everett along the way. We regroup at the top of hills or when necessary to stay together.
We'll stop for a little while at a Starbucks half-way for snacks, coffee, etc.
The scenery is lovely at this time of year, along the Snohomish River and near some small farming areas. The weather promises, so far, to be easy-going and pleasant.
From Seattle, take SR 9 North, then as you drive over the bridge, turn right onto Second Ave., continue about 1 mile East, turn left on Maple, go about 1/2 mile north. After you cross Pine St., parking is along the side on Maple. We meet near the corner of Maple and Pine.
