Sunset Park, Discovery Park and Ella Bailey Park

Join us for a 21.0 mile, 1200' elevation gain as we bike through the Seattle neighborhoods of Wallingford, Green Lake, Phinney Ridge, Loyal Heights and Magnolia.  Along the way, we will bike by Green Lake, Sunset Park, Golden Gardens, the Hiram Chittenden Locks, Discovery Park, Ella Baily Park, Lawton Park, and the south Ship Canal Trail.  We will re-group on the tops of all major hills.  As it is early in the biking season for some people, the pace for this ride will be moderate on the flat sections and steady on the hill climbs.  Afterwards, we'll head to the Nickerson Street Saloon for food, drinks and socializing for those interested.  

Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the start time to get your bike set up, sign the waiver, and to listen to the safety talk.

The ride leaders will not be at the ride start should conditions be as noted in “Showers Cancels” above.  I will announce the cancellation in the comments section below at least 2 hours prior to the ride start and will monitor my phone and/or email listed in the contact information.
