South Lake Loop

This ride starts at the Old Renton City Hall. Restrooms and water are available at the park nearby. The rest stops are Aubury Davis Park on Mercer Island and at Seward Park. 

We'll ride north from Renton up the east side of Lake Washington, cross to Mercer Island then loop around Mercer Island before riding to Seattle across the I-90 bridge. Once in Seattle we'll head south to Seward Park along Lake Washington Blvd. From Seward Park we'll ride to Rainier Avenue then south back to Renton. 

Riders are expected to have the necessary supplies and skills to fix their own flats. Please bring a phone to so you can contact someone if you have a serious mechanical problem.
Please arrive at least 20 minutes early (9:40 a.m.) so you can get yourself ready, sign the waiver, and listen to the S.M.A.R.T. briefing (9:50 a.m.). Our roll-out time is 10:00 a.m.! Riders not present for the safety briefing will not be allowed to ride with the group.

Occasional showers will cancel this ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted here, in the comment section below, by 8:00 a.m.  If that notice is posted, the ride leaders will not be at the start.

Pre-registering online: If you have a Cascade account, please pre-register for this ride online by clicking on the Register button at the top of this page and entering your information. Pre-registering saves time at the beginning of the ride and provides legible emergency contact information. If you cannot make the ride, you do not need to un-register.
