MUMPS: East Side Ramble (moderate pace)

This moderate pace ride heads from Woodinville to Tuscany/Redmond Ridge, Redmond and Kirkland, with a lunch stop at Victors Celtic Coffee in Redmond at mile 22.5. And for a little variety, it includes a bit over a mile on the red brick road section of 196th Ave NE near Redmond (OK for road bikes with skinny tires).

Restrooms at the start are available at Woodinville City Hall and across the street at Wilmot Gateway Park, at the lunch stop, and in Kirkland.

Riders should be at the start 15 minutes early to ready their bikes and hear the safety/route talk, for a prompt 10am rollout.

The route/cue sheet is at the link below. It's the same route that was rain cancelled 4/16. Please download or print it if you want it during the ride.

We will regroup as necessary, but it would be a good idea to take my phone number so you can contact me if you have a problem while off the back.

Full fenders with mud flaps are highly recommended and appreciated if the roads are wet. Please be prepared to take care of flats or minor mechanicals, and have a way to get yourself home or back to start in case you are unable to complete the ride.

Please register in advance on this website to save time at the start. (You need a CBC account, but you don't have to be a member to get one. Or you can register manually at the start.) You don't have to un-register if you can't make the ride.

In case of cancellation the ride leader will not be at the start and a cancellation notice will be posted in COMMENTS below at least two hours prior to start. Please check for potential cancellation prior to heading to the ride.
