The beautiful 520 Bridge bikeway now makes is possible to bike all around Lake Washington in three sections: A shorter North Lake; South Lake using the I-90 Bridge: and Middle Lake over both Bridges. We will do the middle. Seattle historian, Michael Herschensohn will provide some interesting information about the history of both bridges. Leader rides at a slow leisurely pace, enjoys the scenery and rides slow up hill. There is a substantial rise at the east end of the 520 Bridge and several hills both on the Eastside and returning in Seattle.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
