FRUMPS: Redmond - Carnation - Novelty
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This will be a relaxed social ride, mostly on quiet backroads, from Redmond to Carnation returning via Union Hill and Novelty Hill. We will ride at a Moderate pace (14-16 MPH on the flats) and regroup after climbs and if we otherwise get separated.
We’ll meet in the East Lake Sammamish Trail parking lot (behind Whole Foods in Redmond). There are public restrooms at the start. Lunch will be in Carnation (mile 22.
Please arrive early enough to prepare for a 10:00 a.m. departure. Bring equipment to fix a flat tire and know how to use it. We will try to wait for mechanical problems, etc. but may not be able to wait for everything.
Prior to the ride please review the route on RideWithGPS.com (see link below). Print your own cue sheet from the link if the route is unfamiliar to you. People riding slower or faster than the majority of the group will be self-guided. It is possible we will vary the route due to weather conditions or other factors. If you are new to group riding or to Cascade rides, please see “Cascade information for Newcomers” at http://www.cascade.org/welcome-newcomers.
