Wheels on Wednesdays--Maltby Snohomish Loop

We'll ride from Maltby Community Park down Fales Road over to Monroe and then to Snohomish and back to Maltby. During the weekday times, this is a lightly traveled route but we still will be mindful of traffic. We’ll stop in Snohomish for a quick refuel break, then begin the climb out of the valley up Broadway back to our starting point.

The bathrooms at Maltby Park may be closed for the season.  Please come prepared for that.  Our first opportunity for a bathroom break will be at Lewis Street Park in Monroe, at Mile 13.3.  

Bring money for the refueling stop, water and snacks, and a spare tube and tools for flat fixing. Make sure you have the route downloaded or print and carry a copy of the cue sheet! Come early for the safety briefing which starts at 10:15 am -- we'll leave promptly at 10:30 am.

If it's raining, snowy, icy, or extremely windy that day, I'll post a cancellation notice here in the comments section by 8:00 am.

DIRECTIONS TO START:
From Hwy 9, a bit over a mile north of the 522 interchange, take the State Route 524/Yew Way/ Broadway Exit east (right) at the traffic light to Maltby.  Just past the Maltby Cafe, bear right onto Broadway and continue past the Yew Way "Y" intersection to Matlby Community Park, on the left. Watch for the ball fields.  We'll be on the right side of the parking lot.
