Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This is a nice little route that got snowed out on Dec 26th. Lets give it another go. A social hilly ride visiting the "hill" neighborhoods in Redmond - Education Hill, English Hill, Hollywood Hill and Ring Hill, with a coffee stop at Starbucks at mile 20. There are 3 places where we connect nighborhoods via unpaved trail sections. These are walkable with your bike. Sanicans at start location but no water; bring full water bottles. Bring pocket food and money for coffee/food at Starbucks. Parking is on the south side of 116th near the Sammamish river trail access. Overflow parking is just across the street.
Frost, ice, snow, or freezing conditions will also cancel the ride. In event of weather conditions being poor as described above, I will post a cancellation notice in the comments section below by 8 a.m. on the day of the ride. Rain during the ride could amend the route. Please be sure to check the comments section of the posting before driving to the start.
Please arrive and be ready to ride by 10:15 as we will have the safety briefing and depart promptly at 10:30. Please print a cue sheet from the link provided if you would like one.
If you have a Cascade account you may register in advance up until 8am on ride day by clicking the Register button at the top of this posting. If your plans change you do not need to unregister. You are also welcome to sign in at the start.
