Free Group Ride
Renton Issaquah Loop
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This is a scenic but challenging ride that has some good climbs and a lot of non-stop urban riding. We start at the Renton Library parking lot and head towards Lake Washington. After leaving Renton, we'll climb 44th up through Newcastle and make our way to Issaquah via Factoria. At mile 25, we will stop for coffee at the Issaquah Coffee House. From there it's mostly urban riding until climbing 140th Way SE to Fairwood, then back to the start.
The pace is 17-18mph on the flats, and the climbing will be at your own pace. We will regoup often at the top of the longer hills to keep the group together, but please be prepared to be self sufficient, just in case you want to split off or you have a mechanical, etc. Anything more than a sprinkle of rain will cancel, and fenders are highly recommended if the streets are wet. Please arrive early to prepare and hear the pre-ride announcements, as we'll be rolling at 9:00AM. Let's do this!
