Seattle Pastry Ride - Gas Works to Seward Park, hilly route
Event has already happened.
Seattle Pastry Ride!
Starting from Gas Works Park, head over the University bridge and make our way to Seward Park hitting most of the hills on the way. The steepest climbs (~14% grade) are at mile 6.3 and 7.4 but those will definitely be skipped if the road is too wet (we'll decide when we get there). Restroom break at Seward Park at mile 14.4. From there most of the climbing is done and we just have to make it back to the Burke-Gilman Trail. From there we'll pass Gas Works and stop at Sea Wolf Bakery. This place opened up fall 2016, so it's relatively new.
Bring your rain jacket. Be ready to fix your own flats. Due to the hilly nature of the ride, we WILL stop for flats and regroup at the top of the hills to keep the group together.
