Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Please join us for a fun and interactive ride with the Auburn Police Department Bicycle Patrol Officers.
Officer Sedillo is a certified International Police Mountain Bike Association Instructor (IPMBA), he and the other officers joining us will share tips and instruction for safe riding prior to leaving. We will stop at Starbucks in Sumner for coffee; there will be ample opportunity to ask questions or just share bike stories.
Remember, bike laws vary depending on city, county or state. There are many resources we can use, such as your local Police Department, Cascade Bike Club/Washington Bikes and the Washington State Bike Law online
We ask that you arrive at 9:30 listen to the Safety briefing and be ready to roll by 10:00. Please bring all tools and tubes, necessary to fix flats and minor mechanical issues. It’s also wise to have a backup in case you cannot finish the ride, such as an ORCA Card for public transportation, a family or friend who can pick you up in case of a minor mechanical or medical issues. The weather is also cooling down, and the rain has a way of surprising us, so please dress accordingly. You should bring snacks and water as well.
Restrooms are at the start.
Cue sheets will not be provided, so please print one if desired.
In the event of inclement weather, the ride leader will post a cancellation in the comment section two hours before the ride start. Ride Leader will not be at the start if canceled.
