EARTHDREAM Rides Beaver Lake and Zoo Hill

EAstside Ride The Hill DREAM rides are focused on helping strong riders get stronger by training on hills or using intervals (or both). You can ride the hills at your own pace; we will regroup at the top. EARTHDREAM rides emphasize teamwork and cooperative riding in a way that is fun and encourages each rider to develop their cycling skills. 

This ride makes a big loop around the Eastside and picks up a number of hills along the way, including the granddaddy of the all - Zoo Hill.  

The starting location is at the Sixty Acres Park in Redmond. We will meet in the small parking lot to the South of 116th.  There is a port-o-potty at the Park and Ride but no running water.  Please plan accordingly.   

We will plan one food/water stop at the Safeway/Starbucks in Issaquah.

The EARTHDREAM group tends to keep a consistent pace especially on hills where the climbs are fast and strong.  Riders who struggle to maintain a vigorous pace may find it challenging to stay with the group.  We will attempt to accommodate people with a range of abilities, but riders who are significantly off the group pace should come prepared to finish the ride on their own if necessary.

If you click the "Register Now" button on this page it saves you from having to sign in at the start of the ride.  Also, it gives me an idea of how many people to expect.

Steady rain cancels this ride.  If the ride is cancelled due to weather, a notice will be posted in the comments and the ride leader will not be at the start.  Fenders are strongly recommended if the roads are wet or if rain is in the forecast.  I'll leave an update about fenders the morning of the ride.
