Woodlawn Park to Matthews Beach

Come out and ride with us to close out October before the Seahawks game with a lovely route starting at Woodlawn Park, continuing on the Burke Gillman Trail to Matthews Beach and back.  We'll have a nice leisurely ride where we can converse and enjoy the sights along the way.

There are bathrooms at the start as well as at our mid-way stop at Matthews Beach.

Please bring water and tools to change a flat.  If the roads are wet, please have fenders on the bike to be kind to your fellow riders.

9:30 am is roll-out time.  Please arrive by 9:15 am so you have time to prepare for the ride, check-in, and hear the safety briefing. Registering here (on Cascade's site) will make the process easier and we can better preprare with appropriate number of Ride Leaders. 

In addition to showers, any other hazardous conditions will cancel a ride. If a ride is cancelled due to hazardous conditions, the notice will be posted here in the comments section below, and on the Meetup announcement page two hours prior to the start time on the day of the ride. If that notice is posted, the ride leaders will not be at the start.
