Saturday Soul Food Lunch Ride

Now that the temps are cooling down as summer slips away and fall rolls in, what better way to spend a Saturday morning than riding with friends and having the option to try some Soul food after the ride. We will start in Normandy Park Shopping Center @ Can't Stop Smakin 19901 1st Avenue South, Normandy Park, WA 98148, phone number (206) 249-8275. This is a hilly rode, but the hills are not steep going up and rather beautiful which makes a great climb. We will ride through Normandy Park, with a chance to ride the new trail to Burien, with a stop at Grand Central Bakery for a snack, visit Three Tree Point for some breath taking views and pictures. For those of you who never experienced the Des Moine Spring Creek Trail, it's absolutely gorgeous, and at the bottom we will be going thorugh Des Moine Marina as we finish our ride and one last climb to lunch! We will travel on roads and trails. This is a beautiful route and one I am excited to take people on, especially if you have never been on it before. I look forward to riding with you!!

Restrooms at the start, as they have coffee shops and other stores. Please be respectful and leave a tip or buy a coffee to start your day with.

Bring all tools and tubes needed to fix a flat. Have a printed cue sheet and a back up plan if you cannot finish the ride. Please be courteous to your fellow riders and arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start to prepare your bike, listen to the ride briefing and allow us to leave on time.

Cue sheets will not be provided, please print one if desired.

In the event of bad weather, Ride Leader will post a cancellation in the comments section two hours prior to the start. Ride Leader will not be at the start if cancelled.

Please sign the waiver online to help save time. Just click on the red Register Now button at the top, click on the waiver button, fill in the Emergency Contact Information, and click on Save.  Fenders with buddy flap required to ride within the group if there is a possibility of wet roads.
