South Prairie To The Highlands Via Tehaleh and Back

We will meet at the South Prairie trail head parking lot at 08:45 for a safety/ride briefing.  We will depart immediately after the safety briefing.   Please arrive on time for the safety briefing with a mechanically sound bike, tires inflated and water and any nutrition you require for this ride.  If the roads are wet or rain is predited, please have fenders on your bike. 

We will ride from South Prairie to the Highlands via Tehaleh.  Part of this ride will be on the Foothills Trail where our speed will be no greater than 15 mph.  Please be aware that there may be pedestrians, pets and other cyclists on the trail.  Be careful, pass on the left only after calling it out. Also, please be aware that the bike trail and/or roads may be slick because of leaves, moss and moisture.  There are vehicle bollards located in the middle of the trail at some intersections.  Moving time is approximately 2:00 hours. The ride effort level will be 18-20 mph on the flats and we will re-group at the end of climbs as described during the pre-ride briefing. There will be a bonus climb offered on this ride.
