EARTHDREAM Rides to Snoqualmie Falls

EAstside Ride The Hill DREAM rides are focused on helping strong riders get stronger by training on hills or using intervals (or both :). You can ride the hills at your own pace; we will regroup at the top. EARTHDREAM rides emphasize teamwork and cooperative riding in a way that is fun and encourages each rider to develop their cycling skills. 

This week's ride features a few hills but also has some very long, flat stretches through pleasant country roads.  Starting from Woodinville, we head out to Duvall, where we connect with Cherry Valley Road.  Our first stop will be at a Starbucks in Carnation.  After that we follow the Snoqualmie River through the valley, past Fall City, and up the hill to the top of the falls, where we will regroup.    We return via Issaquah-Fall City Road.  We will have a second stop for water/restrooms at a QFC in Samammish. 

The starting location is at the Woodinville Sports Fields. There are heated restrooms and running water at the start.   

The EARTHDREAM group tends to keep a consistent pace especially on hills where the climbs are fast and strong.  Riders who struggle to maintain a vigorous pace may find it challenging to stay with the group.  We will attempt to accommodate people with a range of abilities, but riders who are significantly off the group pace should come prepared to finish the ride on their own if necessary.

Steady rain cancels this ride.  If the ride is cancelled due to weather, a notice will be posted in the comments and the ride leaders will not be at the start.  Please bring fenders if the roads are wet.
