Frumps - Eastside loop

A social and hilly steady paced ride from Redmond to Kirkland via the 520 trail and Old Redmond Road,  thru Medina and Enatai then returning via Factoria and Lake Hills. There will be mini stops for bathroom breaks and a lunch stop near the end of the ride at Blazing Bagels in Redmond.  Bring snacks for the ride and money to purchase food.  The lunch stop will not occur until mile 31. 

The start location has sanicans but no water.  Bring full water bottles.  If the paved lot on the south side of the road at the 60 acres park is full, there is  a gravel overflow parking lot just acoss the street.

In event of weather conditions being poor as described above, I will post a cancellation notice in the comments section below by 7:30 a.m. on the day of the ride. Please check the comments section of the posting before leaving home.  If you do not see a cancellation notice, and weather is questionable, I will be at the start and make the go or no-go decision there. Showers during the ride could amend the route. If the weather is questionable feel free to call or text me at the number provided above, especially if you are driving any distance to the ride.

Please be sure to arrive at least 20 mins early to prepare your bike, use bathroom, sign waiver and hear SMART briefing. We will depart promptly at 10 a.m. 

If you have a Cascade account you may register in advance up until 7:30am on ride day by clicking the Register button at the top of this page. If you decide not to come you do not need to un-register.  You may also sign in at the ride start.
