Monday Flat Recovery Ride Post Eclipse

PLEASE NOTE AFTERNOON START TIME.  

Come and recover from whatever you did over the weekend with this nice flat spin up and down the Kent valley.  We will start at Three Friends, heading south out the Green River Trail, a bit of road, past Isaac Evans Park, through downtown Auburn then turn north on the Interurban and Green River Trails back to the start point about 25 miles.  We will ride through the parking lot at Three Friends and then east on the road to intersect the Interurban going north again.  We will turn south in Tukwila onto the Green River Trail and head back to the starting point again at 34 miles.  

This ride is very, very flat and we will cruise along above 15mph, maybe faster with a tailwind, slower with a headwind.  Riders welcome to do all 34 miles or quit at 25 miles if they have had enough recovery at that point.  There is water and restrooms at the start.

Please RSVP by clicking on the red "Register Now" button under the ride title above, then checking the box for "Waiver Signature" and filling in the contact information.  This will save us time at the start.  Note that the on-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account, which is easy to set up, but if you don't want one of those just come anyway and sign the hard-copy attendance/hold harmless sheet. 

The listed phone will not be answered after 9:00am on the morning of the ride.  If weather conditions meet the "Showers cancel" criterion, I will post a ride-cancelled note in Comments, below, at least 2 hours prior and not go to the start.  If the weather looks iffy, please check here before leaving for the ride
