Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Join us for an early morning ride from Kirkland to Medina. New riders welcomed. Please bring a working bike, helmet, and water bottle that fits snugly in your water bottle holder. Please arrive at 7:30 for safety briefing. We will roll at 7:45. Before the ride, we will also go over hand signals and how to communicate on the ride to keep ourselves safe. Meet at the restrooms in Marina Park. There is ample street parking on Market St and in neighborhoods just north of Marina Park. (Parking in Marina Park is limited and there is a fee.) Pace is Steady, which is 12-14 miles on the flats. If you can ride 12 mph on the flats, you can do this ride and you will not be dropped. We will all be a little slower on the hills and will regroup at the top of hills. We will ride on roads with bike lanes, some paved bike trails and a few miles without designated bike lanes. Ride with GPS route and cue sheet will be posted here on Friday, July 21st. Girl Scout Cookies for everyone at the start!
