Free Group Ride
4th of July Pancake Ride - Brisk (Redmond)
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
It's Independence Day! May we hold this freedom with dignity, respect it with our actions, cherish it in our hearts and celebrate it abundantly, so we will never forget that it is special! Therefore join this social bike ride; it is pancake flattish and we'll stop to eat pancakes! Bike decorations and all red, white and blue is much encouraged!
Route: The route starts in Redmond and heads north. Around mile 11 we will stop at the Firehouse in Bothell and join the comminity's 4th of July Pancake Breakfast (free, donations accepted). We'll take a picture with the fire truck of course and then continue our ride. After skirting Mill Creek we drop down into rural Maltby, have a brief reststop at mile 25 and return via Paradise Lake Rd to the Bear Creek P&R.
Registration: Your registration on this website is much appreciated. Sign in to your (free) account, then register. You can also find us on Meetup.com
Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish/King County and be safe! Riders should be able to maintain the chosen pace. We regroup occasionally. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled by 06:30am, it will be posted in the comment section. In that case the ride leaders will not be at the start.
Check out the links below: You'll find links to our routes, one if you are new to group riding, want to bring a minor, our safety briefing and a link of how you can become a ride leader.
