Free Group Ride
Summer Snoqualmie Adventure (Steady)
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This is a redo of the final CHEW- Eastside 2017 ride #11, it is 55 miles, with 2442 feet in elevation at a steady pace, 12-14 mph on flats with no wind. All significant climbs are in the first half of the route. This is an epic, beautiful route with some great scenery along the way. It is a ride with views definitely worth all the climbing! There is one planned stop at Starbucks in North Bend at mile 23, as well.

Rider Requirements:
- Be sure to print off and bring a cue sheet, if needed.
- Ensure your bike is in good working order. Please do an ABC check prior to departure.
- Be prepared for situations such as adverse weather conditions, mechanical problems and flats. Please be knowledgeable and equipped with tubes, pump, etc to handle flats or minor mechanicals.
- If roads are wet, fenders are necessary. Long fenders and buddy flaps are absolutely required unless it is bone dry out, and zero percent chance of rain forecast.
- A good headlight and taillight are highly recommended. We will be riding in wooded areas with lower light.
- Helmets are required to ride. No exception.
- It is recommended to carry two full water bottles, an electrolyte replacement, and nutrition for during the ride (Cliff Blocks, etc).
Regrouping/Club Riding: Club riding is about working together as a group, please do not surge past or pass the ride leader. However, faster riders are welcome to leave the ride to ride independently or join a faster pace group. We regroup at the top of hills and at major turns for a reasonable amount of time. If you are unable to continue or keep up, the Rider Leader will check with you to make sure you have a cue sheet and are able to manage riding independently.
Cancellation: Steady Rain or otherwise unsafe riding conditions will cancel this ride. In the event of a cancellation, a notice will be posted in the comments section in both the Cascade and Meetup postings, and Ride Leaders may not be at the ride start.
Looking forward to an awesome ride!
