Wear your red, white and blue (or not) for this tour of the city before the fireworks begin. The starting point is about 1 mile north of the north gate into the Ballard Locks. Unlimited, free parking is available on both sides of Seaview Ave and in the triangle parking lot on the west side of the street. If you get to the marina, you,have gone too far.
Please be ready to ride at 9:50am so we will be able to have a brief safety reminder, introductions and prompt departure. On the route we will see the Burke Gilman Trail, Gas Works Park (bathroom @ mile 4,5), the UW campus, Ravenna Park, Windermere, Laurelhurst Playfield, University Bridge, South Lake Union Park, Seattle Center (LUNCH), Myrtle Edwards Park and Trail, Elliott Bay Park and Trail, Smith Cove Park, Discovery Park, Day Star Cultural Center and the Hiram M Chittenden Locks.
Please carry a spare tube for your bike with you and pre-registger by clicking on the "Register Now" button at the top of this page and completing your information. You may also register at the ride start on the 4th. This will be a stay together ride and we will regroup at the top of any hills.
