Free Group Ride
MUMPS: Head Up North (Moderate)
Event has already happened.
This moderate paced (14-16mph) ride heads north from Log Boom Park to Everett via Seattle Hill & Lowell-Larimer Rd, including a stretch on the Lowell Riverfront Trail, then to a lunch stop at Snohomish Bakery, and returns via Broadway & Maltby. This is mostly scenic rural cycling.
We regroup frequently including at the top of hills. There are restrooms at the start. Full fenders and mud flaps are appreciated if the roads are wet. Please be prepared to take care of your flats or mechanical issues if necessary. (You will nearly always find other riders to be helpful also.) Feel free to record my phone number listed above in case you need to notify me if you peel off or have a problem during the ride.
If you want the route/cue sheet, please download or print it from the link below.
If the weather forecast is for rain or unsafe riding conditions during the ride, the ride leader will not be at the start and and a cancellation notice will be posted in the comments section below at least two hours in advance.
