MORE Hills and Interlaken Park (Steady)

Please join us for a loop through Laurelhurst and Interlaken Park, starting from Lower Woodland Park. This route will have some smaller climbs early as we head east on 55th street and wind through the Laurelhurst neighborhood.  We then pass Husky stadium and the Montlake Bridge for our largest climb up E Interlaken Blvd.  We then drop down 10th Ave E in North Capital Hill, back across the University bridge, along the Burke-Gilman trail, until our final hill up Wallingford Ave N on our way back to Lower Woodland.

Pace: Please note, we will ride within the posted pace on the flats with an equivalent effort up hills. If you plan to ride faster or slower, please come prepared to ride on your own so that each pace group does not have long wait times.

Regroups/Mechanicals: This will be a social ride with regroups at the top of bigger hills and at all critical turns along the way. We'll also enjoy some opportunities for photos at nice viewpoints. Please come prepared with the necessary equipment you may need to take care of flats or other mechanical problems. A cue sheet is available for you to print and is good to have in case you happen to get separated from the group.

Requirements: Please make sure to arrive 15 minutes before the ride start for the safety briefing (and sign the ride waiver). As is required with all Cascade rides, please ensure you wear a helmet. Come prepared with gear that is comfortable and appropriate for the distance/elevation/weather conditions.

RSVP: Please sign an e-wiaver (link just below the ride title if you are signed into Cascade.org) or via Meetup, so we can plan for the appropriate number of Ride Leaders. 

Cancellation Policy: In the event of a weather cancellation, a notice will be posted in the comments on this page at least two hours before the ride and the ride leaders will not be at the ride start location.  Steady rain will cancel this ride.
