Event has already happened.
It's Thursday in Tacoma and that means that the "Tacoma Rides Around the Sound and the Harbor" series is back. Every Thursday night from March 16th to November 2nd, 2017, come on out and enjoy 90 - 120 minutes of challenging terrain. We will predominently depart from either the Tacoma War Memorial, or the Dolce Si Coffee Shop (or one of the many coffee shops that Tacoma has to offer), but occasionally, we'll throw in a ride from Powderworks Park in Dupont, WA, to the Trail in Orting, WA, to the 7 Seas Brewery in Gig Harbor, WA. We will definitely try to keep it interesting and fluid. For this evenings ride, we will be departing from the Dolce Si Sicilian Bakery at Ruston Point, as we roll through North Tacoma, round through Lakewood, WA and close out through University Place, WA. Of note, we will be starting with the Baltimore Climb...those who know...know. There are bathrooms at the start point, and parking should be plentiful.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
