Kirkland - May Valley - 55 (Vigorous)

Join me for a ride out to May Valley, Issaquah, and the Sammamish Plateau.  Pace will be 19-20 mph on the flats with perhaps some higher intervals should the group be willing. We will also regroup on the top of any hill of consequence so you may climb at your own pace.  Mid-ride break at Issaquah Coffee Company.

Start point:  The start point is Marsh Park, located about 0.7 miles south of downtown Kirkland along the waterfront on the 6600-6700 block.  Please DO NOT park your car in the small lot. There is ample street parking available, but be sure to obey all posted signs for any parking restrictions.   Bathrooms and water are available at the park.

Every rider is expected to sustain and complete the route at the advertised pace. Please bring a cue sheet and/or upload the route information onto your GPS device. Ride with GPS link is below.  Please also have tubes and tools and to be able to fix a flat and other minor mechanicals.  Please also bring enough on-bike nutrition since we will only be stopping once for snacks.

Please pre-register & sign e-waiver (register button right below the ride title).  

Cancellation: In addition to steady rain, any other hazardous conditions will cancel a ride. If a ride is cancelled due to weather and hazardous conditions, it will be posted here in the comment section 2 hours prior to the start time.  

Note: We will stop for coffee/snacks at Issaquah Coffee Company (mm 30).  There are bathrooms and water available at Marsh Park.

9:15 am is our roll out time. Please come at least 15 min before the start time to sign a waiver and listen to the safety and route briefing.
