WRUMPS - Northend Goes Afar Again

Let's go and explore some of the prettiest roads in south King County!  We will ride May Valley, Lake Francis, Maxwell, Dorre Don, Green Valley, Lake Holm, Jones and many more.  This pretty 68 mile moderate country ride starts and ends at Ron Regis Park in Renton, and will have an elevation gain of approximately 3200'.  Heading due north, we start with the quiet beauty of May Valley before heading up Cedar Grove and Lake Francis eventually to Dore Don. From here we head out to Landsburg, Ravensdale, Black Diamaond and Green Valley.  Pack your own lunch or buy something at Ristrettos in Maple Valley at mile 53.  From here it's a short jaunt via Witte and Jones Roads back to the start.  There will be two short potty/water stops at mile 12 and mile 30.  

This is a social stay together group ride.  On the other hand be prepared to take care of your own flats and mechanicals.  We will regroup at the top of hills and at major turns.  Cue sheets will not be provided by the ride leader.  If you want one print it off using the RWGPS link below.

Ride Leader will cancel by 7:30 AM if it looks like rain.  Check the website before you leave home!

To save time and to make the sign-in process much easier, please register for this ride.  If you already have a Cascade account make sure you are logged in and click the <Register> button at the top of the ride description, then make sure to check the box indicating you have read the Waiver & Release, add your emergency phone number and click <Save Registration> button.  Don’t worry if you can’t make the ride, you needn’t unregister.  If you don’t have a cascade free rides account, consider setting one up it only takes a couple of minutes and doesn't cost you a thing.  If you’ve pre-registered all you need to do is check off your name at the start of the ride – no lengthy sign-in procedure. Make sure you are registered by 10:00PM on the day before the ride.
