Event has already happened.
The ride will start west of Ballard, about 1 mile past the Ballard Locks, and just north of the entrance to Sunset West on the west side of the street. Free parking is available on both sides of Seaview Ave. NW. Please arrive by 9:45 as we will depart promptly at 10. We will head north on the Burke Gillman Trail to Golden Gardens Park and the beach. Next, we will pedal through Shilshole Marina and out on the pier before returnig to the BGT heading south and then east through Ballard. We will leave the BGT and head north on 8th Ave NW to the designated bike route going west on NW 58th St. Finally, we will rejoin the BGT at the Locks and return to our starting point. Along the route we will see three boat ramps into Salmon Bay and one into Puget Sound. Feel free to call if you have any questions.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
