We'll start at Redmond Middle School, ride off of Education Hill towards Woodinville. Since there are no bathrooms at the start, we will stop just before mile 6 at Wilmot Gateway Park. From there we'll head up Norway Hill, down to Kirkland Marina and back up once we get to Carillon Point . We'll head up and over to 116th and we'll take a 15-20 minute stop at Starbuck's in Bridal Trails at approximately mile 23. After our break, we'll head down 132nd to the 520 trail and then back up Education Hill via an easy climb on Woodinville - Redmond Rd.
This is a fun ride with some good flats as well as some hills. The pace will be 14-16 mph on the flats, slower up the hills, and faster down.
If showers are expected I will cancel the ride 2 hours prior to ride start (7 am) and will not show at the start.
You may pre-sign the waiver at the Cascade website, by clicking on the "Register" button under the ride title, checking the Waiver Signature box, and saving registration. You must be signed into your Cascade account to register, but a Cascade membership is not required to attend this ride.
Please RSVP on meetup.com. It’s not required, but MUCH appreciated.
Please bring plenty of water, tools and tubes in case of a flat, and arrive at the start 15 minutes before the start so we are ready to roll at 9 am.
