Event has already happened.
Let's meet at the end of 14th Ave NW in Ballard (near NW 45th Street intersection and boat launch) to start a ride around Discovery Park and Magnolia. There is plenty of parking on that street at end of road. When ride is over there will be optional outing at a local establishment. We will regroup at top of every hill for a reasonable time. Stops will be brief. Please bring your own cue sheet. Please pack water, snack, and tools/tubes to fix a flat as always. Even though the majority of ride will be in daylight, please have your lights (both front and back) just in case of unforeseen holdups. There is no scheduled stop en route and no facilities at the start. 5:30pm is roll out time, so please be at the start, ready to ride no later than 5:45pm.
Weather notice: In case of inclement weather, the ride leader will post a cancellation notice in the comments section below by 4pm day of the ride, and Ride Leaders will not be at the ride start.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
