Event has already happened.
RAMROD and STP (one-day) training to build endurance and climbing skills. We will stay together and maintain a typical Brisk pace though we may up the speed for short distances on the flats. We will regroup at tops of hills. Be ready to ride at 7. Centennial Trail to Snohomish, then various routes to Logboom Park to meet up with MUMPS and head back to Snohomish County and eventually back to Arlington. Bring adequate water and nutrition for a long ride though we will have a few places to stop to refill. Be prepared for weather changes. Please check your tires and bike condition before leaving home. Bring at least 2 new tubes, tire levers, a patch kit, and a pump or CO2 cartridges. Light showers we ride but heavy showers/rain will cancel.
Elevation will vary with route and will usually be 3000-5000 feet total
Preregister if possible or you want to meet in Snohomish. We will stop at the Snohomish Bakery about 8:20 to pick up any other riders who want to join for the shorter ride (MUMPS Snohomish).
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
