Eastside Springtime Loop, a Social Ride for New and Returning Cyclists

New to bicycling, been off your bike for a while, or just need a recovery ride?  New to Cascade or Group riding?  Make this your opportunity to get on the bike and and enjoy the Spingtime colors. This is a social ride along a variety of trails and roads with experienced ride leaders. There are some climbs, but we climb at our own pace and regroup at the top of all hills to give you a chance to recover.

We start and finish at the Chainline Brewing Company in Kirkland, next door to the new Google Campus and on the Cross Kirkland Corridor. We ride South to the new 520 Trail and up to the Everygreen Point overlook to check out the new 520 bridge construction.  Then we ride Evergreen Point Drive around through Medina to Bellevue.  We continue our Bellevue loop through Beaux Arts to a rest stop at Enatai Beach.  We return through Bellevue via the normal Lake Washington loop. Once back in Kirkland we continue north to the 100th Street Bridge overpass and back to the start.  After the ride, join us at the Chainline Brewing Company for refreshments and more conversations about biking.

We will not have a food stop on the route but there are several water/restroom stops along the way with time to eat whatever snacks you bring along.

There are no restrooms at the start but we will stop within the first mile.

Please register for this ride using the Register Tab.  If your name is on the online waiver registration you will not need to sign at the ride start.

Park at the southend of the parking lot.

All riders should come equipped to deal with their own mechanical problems and with necessary water/food. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early to get ready to ride and sign the waiver.

Showers or more severe weather will cancel the ride.  Ride cancellation will be announced in the comments section at least two hours before start time and the ride leaders will not be at the start.
