EAstside Ride The Hill DREAM rides are focused on developing stronger riders by training on hills or using intervals (or both :). Strong riders can challenge themselves to charge up the hills at their own pace, but others will not be left behind because we will regroup at the top of all hills. An effort will be made to accomode people with a range of abilities, but riders who are significantly off the group pace should come prepared to finish the ride on their own.
This week we increase the distance and elevation to help everyone get back in shape or get stronger. Starting at the South Kirkland Park & Ride, we will pick up a few hills in Kirkland, then head across the valley to the Samammish Plateau. We will do a loop around Beaver Lake before dropping down into Issaquah and riding out to May Valley Road. We will return to the start through Bellevue.
We will have two stops on this ride: one at Marymoor Park and one at Burger King in Issaquah.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
