Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
April is here, which means it's time to start 30 days of biking: Ride each day of the month! Join us for a mostly flat 33 mile route from Gas Works Park to Alki Beach in West Seattle via the Elliot Bay trail and Seattle waterfront. Coffee break midway through. Then, our return will include a long, steady hill climb up through central West Seattle, with a stop at the Hamilton Viewpoint to enjoy the downtown skyline. As a bonus, we'll take a peak at the Amazon Bubble, under construction downtown. Pace will be brisk (17mph) on the flat sections, and we'll limit to 15mph while on multi-use paths. Our goal will be to stick together, regrouping as necessary at the top of any climbs. Weather promises to be fantastic and sunny! Meet in the western portion of the Gas Works Park parking lot at 0915 for route review and safety brief, then rolling at 0930. Restrooms available at the start.
