Sumner to Midland

Join us for a ride from Summer through Puyallup up the hill to the Summit and Midland area! We'll be leaving Sumner and head through downtown Puyallup and ascend up Fruitland Ave (a roughly 2 mile climb that briefly tops out around 6% grade) to the Summit/Midland area and return back down to the valley, ride segments of the Riverwalk & Foothills Trails, and maybe see some daffodils on our way back into Sumner. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early to hear the SMART talk and have enough time to be ready to ride on time. Restrooms available at the start and roughly halfway at Dawson Playfield.

Please print cue sheets (none available at start) or download the route and bring all necessary tools & tubes to handle any flats etc. Waiting for mechanical issues will be at the discretion of the ride leader. Fenders highly recommended during the rainy seasons and when there is a chance of rain in the forecast, otherwise you will be asked to ride in the back. We will regroup at the top of major hills and turns, but ride leader will ride with best interests of the group in mind (maintaining posted pace for flats).
