Event has already happened.
A hilly, mid-week ride departing from Cascade Bicycle Club in Magnuson Park over Woodland Park to a water break at Golden Gardens with a stop at Theo's Chocolate in Fremont. This is a good opportunity to buy or to use your Bicycle Benefits sticker (http://bb2.bicyclebenefits.org/#/cities/3) for half off on a "white wrapper" Theo's bar. Moderate pace with regroups on hills. Please bring water, a snack, and all necessary tools & tubes in case they are needed. Be prepared for unpredictable NW spring weather. RSVP on meetup would be appreciated.
Feel free to stop in at CBC before or after the ride for coffee, tea, or a cold drink. If a ride is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be posted here in the comment section by 8:00 a.m. and ride leaders will not be waiting at the start.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
