Looping South Seattle (a Ride for Fish)

First, an apology to Jake Wright for stealing his "Ride for Fish" appellation.  This is a social 46 mile loop around South Seattle on some familiar routes, with a lunch stop at Ivar's on the north end of Lake Union.  We'll ride from Renton up the west side of Lake Washington, reversing the STP route up over the Ship Canal.  Lunch at Ivar's, where the outdoor dining is made even better by cozy heat lamps!  Then it's out to Interbay on the South Ship Canal Trail, down the waterfront, over to W Marginal Way, and then south through Tukwila and back to Renton.  Our only climbs will be early, and we'll stay together at a Moderate pace.  If the weather on ride day meets the "Showers Cancel" no-ride criteria, I will not be at the ride start.  In that case, I will post a ride cancellation notice in the Comments block by 8:00 AM.

Note: Pre-registration is not required to do the ride, but if you can, please try to pre-register for this ride prior to the ride date.

Step 1: Sign into (or create) a Cascade account at www.cascade.org

Step 2: Open this ride announcement, and click on the Register button under the ride title at the top.

Step 3: On the Registration page, check the Waiver Signature release box (please read or review the Waiver and Release by clicking the link below the Waiver Signature box).  Don't change the number in the "Spaces" block.

Step 4: Fill in the Emergency phone number space with a number for someone we can reliably contact if you have an emergency on the ride that leaves you unable to provide us with an emergency contact on the spot.

Step 5: Click on the "Save Registration" button.  Now you are registered for the ride!

If something comes up and you can't attend, you do not have to un-register.
