Sumner Kent Auburn Run

Join me this Sunday for a social ride from Sumner to Kent and back with a coffee stop at mile 21 at Zola’s Coffee in Auburn. The ride is about 32 miles long, mainly flat with a couple of very short little hills. Just a nice Sunday ride to unwind, stretch your legs and recover from your Saturday training rides.

Note: The pace of this ride will be based on having no wind. If we have a headwind, the pace will be slower, if we have a tailwind, the pace may be faster.

Riders should bring a spare tube, tools and the know-how to fix a flat. Please download the gps or print out a cue sheet for yourself. Please arrive at the start location by 9:45 a.m. for the safety briefing so we can roll out promptly at 10:00 a.m. Restrooms are available in the Fred Meyer's store.

The ride leader will not be at the ride start should inclement weather meet the definition for cancellation (showers, ice/snow, steady rain). Ride cancellation will be announced in the Comments Section below at least two (2) hours prior to the ride start. If you have questions about the weather please call 253-312-0711, preferably before you leave for the ride.

Pre-registering for the ride: You may also register for this ride online, by clicking on the "Register" button under the ride title, checking the Waiver Signature box, and saving registration. Registering requires a Cascade account. If you can’t make the ride you do not need to unregister. By registering you won’t have to fill in the sign in sheet at the start of the ride.
